Kris Rocks! is an event being held to support Kris Sulzberger in her fight against Stage IV cancer.

Kris has been battling Stage IV Breast Cancer that has metastasized to her liver and bones.  Recently her chemo stopped working and the cancer has progressed again.  Her family and friends have decided to hold a fundraising benefit for Kris and her husband David, to help offset the mounting medical expenses, relieve some of their worry, and to surround Kris with family, friends and community members to help lift her spirits.  To read more about Kris' long cancer battle, click here.

Kris Rocks! Event

Kris' husband David is a talented keyboard player.  Along with being a music teacher at Illinois State University and a church music director, David also plays in a band called Mister Sister.  The band has graciously agreed to be a part of this fundraising event, and hence, the event name of "Kris Rocks!" came about.  Plus.....Kris does rock!

Mister Sister

Mister Sister performs music from the likes of Boston, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, REO Speed Wagon...   Mister Sister plays throughout Illinois performing alongside multiple national performing artists (38 Special, Brian Howe, Bad Company, Foghat, and Blue Oyster Cult) as well as playing the local clubs and private events. www.mistersister.net

The order for the Kris Rocks! t-shirts have been placed.  However, we do have "Fight Like a Girl!" T-shirts available, with the proceeds going to Kris' benefit fund.
